Decided to try out this place today since it is close to my neighborhood. They're closed on Mondays so plan accordingly. Nothing outstanding about this place. Coffee was fair, bagels fine, and I couldn't even get a cup of water. I had to buy a bottle. Our "meal" of 2 bagels and drinks was over $10. Probably won't becoming back. However, the staff was friendly.

I wish this little shop was in a more convenient location, but I'm impressed with the careful quality that goes into each of their bagels. The shop on the inside is small, but very welcoming. Try the everything bagel! Or the egg bagel, delicious!

My husband and I tried the bagels here for the first time yesterday. We loved how fresh and tasty they were. The girls working were friendly and polite too. We will definitely be back weekly as part of our breakfast routine.:)

The bagels here are outstanding! Lots of variety and definitely NY style. Very large bagels. If you like your bagel toasted, you must ask for this even if you're ordering a breakfast sandwich, so just keep that in mind. I will definitely them to toast mine twice next time as only the edges were toasty. I tried the jalapeño cream cheese and it was definitely spicy. :) for $5.50, I was only able to eat half of it, so you won't leave feeling hungry. Worth a shot if you love deliciously fresh bagels!

Hair in our bagels!! Rude staff and horrible customer service!! I will just start going to Dunkin Doughnuts just down the street for our bagels in the future!! Buyer beware!!! .............And in response to your rebuttal below: WE never had a conversation about it! I threw them away and cut my losses!! Congratulations on your mediocrity and your storytelling!!

Without a doubt the best bagels I have ever eaten. Cream cheese spreads are all home made and to die for. They just made a pumpkin cream cheese for Fall and it is delicious. If you're in the mood for breakfast sandwiches, they're huge and unbelievably good. Lunches are great also. The owner is very conscientious about cleanliness so the place is always spotless. If you haven't tried this restaurant yet, I highly recommend you do. The staff is always extremely friendly and service can't be beat.

I went to Bite A Bagel last week based on the reviews I read on Yelp. What I found was the best bagels I've eaten since leaving New Jersey in 1990. Bite A Bagel is very clean. It's a nice place but I don't evaluate a place on its looks. What really matters is the quality and the taste of the food. Bite A Bagel scores a 100% on that. The 1st time my family and I went there my kids picked the ones they wanted. The employees could not have been more patient and nicer to my children while they tried to make up their minds as to which delisious treats they wanted. We bought 2 bakers dozen to go. I've never seen the kids eat as many bagels for breakfast as they did that morning. What we didn't finish that day when sliced and froze. The next few days the kids would pop the bagels in the toaster and eat them at different times of the day. They were still great. We went back today for another bakers dozen and they seemed ever better today. All the flavors of cream cheese are incredible and the honey butter will have you putting on more then you really need. Try this place of you want great bagels. These are the best bagels I've eaten since 1990!

Just went there for the first time. Small "Mom and Pop" place. Very small but enough room for about 20 people. Food was great, had the pumpernickel bagel with Lox. Coconut with Fudge Coffee was to die for! Very hard to get a good bagel in Jacksonville, well now it's not!

Very happy to support a new business, especially a bagel place. We just moved from NYC and to have a little taste of familiarity is great! The bagels taste delicious and so does the cream cheese. Yummy! We love bringing a bag home and making sandwiches with them too. My only tip would be to work on smiling and improving customer service. Friendly staff really makes a BIG difference. A simple "welcome" and happy grin alongside looking like you enjoy working there and/or are proud of your new business establishment will go a long way.

Great to have an option other than the McDonalds right outside of the gym. The place is clean, friendly staff and excellent bagels! I chose 'The Wrangler" on an everything bagel and it was fantastic. The bagels are fresh and delicious! I loved seeing that they use Boar's Head brand meats...my favorite and speaks to the care for quality of the business. I love supporting our local businesses!! I will definitely be back for more.

Need to train your young staff more. Received food fairly quickly. I do suggest the bagel and lox. Good place to have on 210.

The everyrhing bagel was to salty. Make sure you ask them to toast your bagel otherwise you get a cold bagel. Cashier didn't try to upset to a combo and only after I paid $1.75 for a bottled drink did I see a small sign at the other end of the counter for add a dollar for drink and chips.

Went to location on 210 and these are the BEST bagels!!! I grew up eating bagels in New Jersey, and these rank up there with the best bagels in NJ/NY. Basically, you can't get much better if you're looking for the perfect bagel. They're soft and chewy like they should be, not stale bread like you get everywhere else. Their creme cheese is awesome too. I moved to FL 20 years ago and have missed a good bagel... until now. Unfortunately it's 30 minutes from my house, but I will be going here every time I'm in the area. I buy a ton and freeze them. Their everything bagel is perfect- just a touch of salt for flavor. Most other places in town don't do that. My kids and their friends just learned what a good bagel is too- they each ate THREE bagels in an hour. They couldn't stop! The secret is out. Enjoy!

first some background. I grew up on bagels which were dense, chewy, smaller than what you see at Panera for example. In comparison I was really looking forward to this place opening. I went on a Saturday morning at 8am and the line was 3/4 of the way to the door. The line moved slowly and it became apparent why. They opened maybe a week or so earlier. There were easily 5 people working behind the counter. The register person was obviously new and it is quite possible it was her first job which caused some delay as they needed to write down the order to pass to the waiting staff to make bagel sandwiches or prepare a bagel with spread, then I ordered a bakers dozen bagels as well. Then they had to ring up the order. This is a place that would benefit with having a point of sales system that produces tickets for others to make items from the menu. I understand this is a local independent place but put a little thought into some efficiency and technology (even calling out the order would have helped speed things up). In fairness it is also a very new place and shaking out the bugs in the first month or so will hopefully improve. By the time I was done and was waiting for my order the line was almost out the door and some people didn't come in because it was so crowded around 9am by this time. Now for the food. I ordered an everything bagel with the lox and cream cheese it is the most expensive sandwich on the menu. Comes with the customary slice of onion and tomato. It had a small amount of lox but the sandwich hit the spot. The bagels are light, airy and a bakers dozen is very reasonable in price. They have a good variety of bagels and even muffins. They do quite a few bagel sandwiches with eggs and other ingredients. A variety of flavoured cream cheeses are available as well. There are about 10 sit down tables or so and a little area in front where large coffee containers sit for self serve coffee. It is a small place so if you go when its busy and want to sit, good luck. There are some art items on the walls referencing NYC scenery and I think I saw on the website they were from NY. I will go back and try some more sandwiches and bagels. It isn't what I love for bagels but i can like them. Now to try the the bagel place near St. Augustine. I hope Bite A Bagel makes it and continues to improve.

I have had mixed experiences at this place. A family member brought a dozen bagels home and we liked them. A group of guys I know also ordered bagels and the overall consensus were they were better than what you get in the grocery store. However, I stopped in recently for breakfast and ordered an omelet on a platter. It was OK but squished into a Styrofoam box and served with plastic utensils. Sure was an unappealing presentation. I also ordered a cinnamon raison bagel. It had 1 raisin, no cinnamon aroma or taste and had been microwaved (makes the bagel too chewey!). I would still get bagels occasionally but won't go back for a breakfast. The place is fairly new so maybe it will improve in consistency. It is unique in the area so I wish it well but have doubts about their approach.

Not overly impressed, I have been there 3 times now and can see the improvements being made. Since I am from NYC I am tough to impress on bagels, they are better than grocery store bagels.
